The data store model is designed to allow a client relatively simple access to interesting data, to allow new information to be easily added without server re-configuration, and to promote the use of both standardized data and custom or proprietary data. Key features include "inheritance" which can be used to manage default values for configuration settings and access control lists which allow interesting personal information to be shared and group information to be restricted.

متن کاملCritical Analysis of the Use of Absorptive Capacity Theory in IS Research
This paper critically analyzes the use of Absorptive Capacity (ACAP) theory in information systems (IS) research. Drawing on a comprehensive review of the evolution of ACAP theory and models for the construct, we empirically investigate a number of ACAP-related papers published in reputable IS journals. The analysis involves four main areas: 1) summary analysis of ACAP in IS papers; 2) domains ...

The Sieve email filtering language can be used to implement email whitelisting, blacklisting, personal distribution lists, and other sorts of list matching. Currently, this requires that all members of such lists be hard-coded in the script itself. Whenever a member of a list is added or deleted, the script needs to be updated and possibly uploaded to a mail server. This document defines a Siev...
متن کاملA Novel Adaptive Congestion Avoidance Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks
Most researches on wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are focused on how to save the energy of the sensor nodes. However, in some applications of WSNs, such as in the monitoring of an earthquake or a forest fire, it is much more important to transmit emergency data packets to the sink node as soon as possible than to save power. This paper proposes a novel Adaptive Congestion Avoidance Protocol (A...

Wireless carriers today are faced with creating more efficient distribution channels, increasing customer satisfaction, while also improving margin and profitability. Industry trends are pushing the sale of handsets further into the retail channel. The cost and effort of provisioning handsets, activating users, and updating handset parameters can be greatly reduced by using over-the-air activat...
